Monthly Guild Meeting

Frieda Anderson, from Elgin, Illinois, is our guest speaker in May. Frieda is an accomplished quilter with a background in fashion design. She has exhibited in almost every national quilting venue from Paducah to Houston with many stops in between. She has had several solo shows as well. Her work has been seen in numerous publications and she also has been a guest on television quilting programs. Her teaching experiences have covered the country with some international classes also. Her first book, "Fun, Fast Fusies" showcases her distinctive style, in which she uses her own hand dyed fabrics in her colorful, creative work.

Frieda's Monday night lecture will be "Machine Quilting". She will instruct us on her own whimsical quilting style and will have many of her wonderful quilts to show us. She is also bringing her patterns and her luscious fabrics to sell.
