Monthly Guild Meeting

Guild Quilt Challenge

Remember that paint chip you picked out at the October meeting? Were you inspired to make something quilted using the colors in the paint chip? We hope so! Bring your challenge project to the June meeting and we’ll pick our favorites.

The program committee would also like to challenge you to bring your finished projects that were inspired by the great lectures and workshops OCQG had this past year. The possibilities are endless: Jill Abeloe Mead’s clothing workshop; the beautiful charm squares from Fern Hill; Karen Combs’ Quilts of Illusion workshops; the Grinnell Fiber Works embellishment lecture; a pillow case from the Prairie Woods retreat; completion of a UFO purchased at the auction in March; Merna Bowman’s North Winds workshop; Frieda Anderson’s Fun, Fast, Fusies; the guild paint chip challenge; and the mystery quilt in the newsletter this past year.

Bring all of your finished projects and we’ll award a prize to the most ambitious quilter.
