Revised November Newsletter
Please visit www.oldcapitolquilters.org for a revised
November newsletter. It was brought to our attention that
there was a problem with the one that was posted, so this
should be corrected now.
Also, a summary of new features on our website is listed
below. I saw a comment on the new message board about how
much easier it was to use and the commenting member hoped
to see more people post... So, please stop in and say
Hello!

1)New Web Address:
The first thing you will notice is the new web address –
www.oldcapitolquilters.org
2)Events Calendar:
Another new feature is the Events Calendar. Events are now
presented in a calendar format to make it easier to see
what events of interest are coming up in the future. More
detail about each event can be seen by simply clicking on
the event in the calendar.
3)Newsletter Notification:
If you wish to receive (or continue to receive) notice when
the newsletter is posted to the website, just join the
Newsletter Notification list at
http://www.oldcapitolquilters.org/newsnotice.html. This
replaces the old e-mail list that was used and makes it
easier to send these notices with fewer bounced e-mails.
4)New Message Board:
Also, we now have a message board on our own website! This
message board replaces the Yahoo group and should be much
easier to join and use. Just click on the Message index
button or go to www.oldcapitolquilters.org/message.html and
enter gohawks as the password to gain access to the page.
Anyone who accesses the page can read the messages on this
board, but only registered users can post after they have
logged-in. Registering for our message board is much
easier than it was to register for the Yahoo group, so I
hope more people will check in and post.
We have also invited our advertisers to post messages about
sales and special events on the message board, so be sure
to check back often.
5)Board E-mail Addresses:
Finally, as part of the website changes, we now have
generic e-mail addresses for our Board members so the
e-mail addresses will never change even when different
people assume the Board positions. These new addresses can
be found on the About Us page along with descriptions and
duties of each Board position.
